Autumn/Winter Newsletter

Stakeholders

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our most recent stakeholder’s survey. We have made some positive changes based on the responses we received.

We agreed that the carpets are starting to look a bit tired so we have ordered new carpets for all communal areas which will be arriving early this year.

Some responses indicated that not everyone is aware of our complaints and feedback procedures. The complaints procedure is displayed in main entrance. There is a suggestions box in the main hallway by the notice board. On the notice board in the hallway there is a staff hierarchy chart. If you ever have any queries please do call or pop into the office.

Another area which people seemed unsure of was whether or not we encouraged residents and service users to self-medicate. This is risk assessed on a case by case basis and if safe and appropriate residents are encouraged and supported to manage their own medications.

Christmas

We had a fantastic Christmas at Ingham House. The Christmas table looked fantastic, the tree was one of the biggest we’ve ever managed to squeeze in and we had some great performances from singers and a magician. Thank you to all the residents, staff and relatives who worked hard to make it so special.

Personal Belongings

Please could family and friends bringing in new clothes and personal items ensure that they are marked. If this is not possible please could they be brought to the staff office? Thank you.

Blog

We will soon be replacing our newsletter with a blog on www.inghamhouse.co.uk . Paper copies will still be available in the hallway, or to sign up for email updates please visit the website.
